Hi, I’m Matt Halls – a Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach based in Eastbourne, and the founder of Matt Halls Personal Training & Nutrition. I’m here to help you find your passion for fitness and create long-term change that transforms not just your body, but your energy, lifestyle, and confidence too.

With a background in Sports and Materials Science from the University of Birmingham, and years of coaching experience under my belt, I’ve learned two things that shape how I work: training should be fun, and it should feel rewarding. Whether we’re working together in person or through my online coaching platform, you’ll never do the same boring workout twice – and you’ll always feel supported.

Fitness has been a personal journey for me. I’ve battled through my own weight loss, learned to love movement again, and found my stride through functional fitness. I’ve competed in events like Tribal Clash UK and Portugal, and Turf Games – where you never quite know what challenge is coming next. That unpredictability taught me how to train for life, not just for the gym – to be ready to lift, run, move, or just keep up with the fast pace of everyday life.

I specialise in functional fitness, weightlifting, gymnastics, and CrossFit-style training – incorporating constantly varied, high-intensity, real-world movements that keep workouts exciting and effective. Each session we do together is tailored to your goals, your energy levels, and your ability – and you’ll never find yourself stuck on a treadmill or dragging through the same routine week after week.
