Fitness has always been at the heart of my life. Growing up near Bude, I was always active, with swimming and surfing a part of my daily routine. It was through my mother, who lost a leg in a motorbike accident but remained mentally strong and passionate about swimming, that I was inspired to pursue swimming at a national level. My dedication led to swimming scholarships and eventually, a deep passion for health, sports science, and nutrition.

After studying Sports Science at Exeter University and gaining years of experience, I founded NL Wellness to offer a unique combination of personal training and swimming coaching. Since then, I’ve continued to evolve, and I’m currently completing an MSc in Nutrition & Exercise Science to better support my clients with the latest evidence-based approaches. I’ve had the privilege of helping hundreds of clients in Exeter and the surrounding areas achieve their goals—whether it’s losing weight, improving health markers, or developing swimming skills.

As a qualified Personal Trainer, Swimming Coach, and Sports Scientist, I’m passionate about helping people not only improve their physical fitness but also their mental wellbeing. I believe that the right approach to fitness should be tailored to each individual’s unique needs and preferences. As a former head coach for Exeter University’s swimming team, I’ve helped athletes break club records and reach their full potential. I offer technical instruction for swimmers of all levels, from beginners learning to swim to competitive swimmers and triathletes looking to enhance their open water skills.
